Eurobodalla Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy 2025-2035

Council is developing Eurobodalla’s 10-year Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy. The strategy will:

  • identify key objectives for waste management and minimisation in Eurobodalla
  • set a clear vision for waste and resource recovery in Eurobodalla
  • develop a plan to carry out actions.

Get involved and give us your feedback

We're encouraging residents and business owners to provide feedback on the strategy's themes.

We have developed three surveys on waste and resource recovery, food waste, and construction and demolition waste.

We encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the online survey that best suits your situation. If you prefer to take all three surveys from a community viewpoint, we'd love to hear from you.

Next steps

The feedback we receive from the surveys will drive waste and resource recovery initiatives over the next ten years. It will also help us to understand:

  • how we're performing in providing waste services to the community
  • what the community’s priorities are for future waste and resource management to include in the strategy.

  • Council is working towards reducing food waste going to landfill by 50 percent by 2030.

Food waste is an important issue we need to address, which is why we're developing Eurobodalla’s 10-year Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy.

A key step of the strategy is to understand the challenges our community and business owners face when they avoid, recover and reuse food waste.

Your feedback and suggestions will help us to explore a range of local, practical initiatives to reduce food waste going to landfill.
