Eurobodalla Pathways Strategy 2026

Building safe, accessible, and connected pathways across Eurobodalla

Council is updating the Eurobodalla Pathways Strategy. The 2026 strategy will plan new and improved footpaths and shared pathways across Eurobodalla. It will look at how our population is changing and how people travel today - including e-bikes, scooters, and mobility aids.

We want to hear from you about your experiences, needs, and priorities for walking and riding in Eurobodalla.

Project background

Council adopted the current strategy in 2017. Since then, Eurobodalla has changed - our population is growing and ageing, new neighbourhoods are developing, and people are getting around in new ways. The updated 2026 strategy will respond to these changes and set a clear direction for pathway planning over the next several years.

Have your say

We want to hear from you. Your input will help us:

  • understand how the community uses existing pathways
  • find gaps and missing links in the network
  • plan future pathways that are safe, connected, and accessible for people of all ages and abilities

There are three ways to share your views:

1. Survey - take our survey to share your experiences, needs, and priorities for walking and riding on Eurobodalla's shared pathways.

2. Places map: Pin your ideas for Eurobodalla's pathways - drop a pin on our places map to show where a new pathway is needed, where an existing one could be improved, or where there are safety concerns or missing links.

3. Pop-up sessions - during April 2026, we held three pop-up sessions with the community at Batemans Bay, Moruya, and Narooma. Residents shared their thoughts about Eurobodalla's pathways with Council's strategic team.

The feedback we receive from the pop-up sessions, survey, and places map will help us to draft a pathways strategy.

Next steps

We will review all feedback from the survey, pop-up sessions, places map, and discussions with community groups and Council staff. We will use this feedback to identify key priorities, gaps, and opportunities in the pathways network - including improvements to safety, accessibility, and connectivity.

Your feedback will guide us in preparing the draft Eurobodalla Pathways Strategy 2026, including proposed priority routes and actions.

Once we have a draft strategy, we will share it with the community so you can have your say again. Your feedback will help shape the final 2026 strategy.
